Tonight Noah received his bobcat badge for cub scouts and is working hard to earn his wolf badge.
It was also his 1st pinewood derby race. He work really hard on his car and was really excited about tonight. All his hard work paid off and he received 1st place in the race! I was so proud of him. He was so serious when he went up to get the award and everyone kept saying "smile, you won!" I think he was more excited about making the car then racing it. He would spend hours sanding it till it was the perfect smoothness.

Here he is with his car and award. They had every car race against every car so Noah's car raced 12 different times. This is the video of his car racing for the 1st time. He was so cute!

Way to go Noah. You must have had a fast car. Probably because of all the love and care you put into it.
Noah totally earned it then! My son hated working on his car. You'd think we were torturing him to suggest he sand it. I'm so glad Noah's hard work paid off for him! It's a great lesson in You Get What You Put Into It.
