Rock up the nose
I found these pictures on the computer a had a good laugh. A week or two after Jacob was born I found a very upset Daniel in the bathroom with Kendall. I asked what was wrong and Kendall said Daniel had shoved a rock up his nose and Kendall was trying to remove it.
I was amazed at how calm Daniel was when Kendall was removing this rock!

Life has been really busy lately. Noah's new school program is taking a lot of time. We get all his supplies tomorrow I we are very excited to start up school full time!
This past week Noah, Emma and Daniel have all been sick. I knew Daniel wasn't feeling well when I found him on the floor with his pillow, blanket and one of Kendall's airplane books sound asleep. When I tried to take the book away he woke up and cried cause I took his book. I am happy to report that they are all feeling better except for some lingering coughs.

Bunk Beds
Kendall finished the boy's bunk beds last week, but Noah didn't like the ladder we were going to make. He wanted a rope ladder. Kendall made the ladder today so the beds are done!! I think Kendall did a fantastic job on them! This is one very heavy, sturdy bed! The boys love it. Noah's favorite part is the rope ladder. I love that I can sit on the bottom bunk and not hit my head on the top bunk and I can sit up straight on the bottom bunk.

Grandparents Come For a Visit!
On Wednesday my Dad, Catherine, and Grandma Alma and Chuck came for a visit. My Grandma is visiting from Illinois. We had a nice visit with them.
My Grandma makes stepping stones for her garden with each one of her great grandchildren's foot prints in them. So she brought the stuff to make one with Jacob's little foot prints.
Yesterday was Emma's first day of Kindergarten. She has been so excited for weeks about starting. We had a calm morning and the boys were kind enough to sleep in so Emma and I could have breakfast together, just the two of us. She and I walked to the end of the street and waited for the bus.
I was really nervous about putting her on the bus the first day, but she really really wanted to ride that school bus. So I thought why not, it would be way easier for me to not have to get all the kids ready and drive to the school.
She was excited until she took that first step onto the bus, then she turned to me and said "Mom, I'm scared!" and then she started to cry. The bus driver was great and said it would be fine. Then she was off to school. It was a very quiet day for us at home without Emma around. The boys didn't really fight at all and it was kinda peaceful. We met her at the bus at 3:15pm and she got off the bus smiling and informed us that she had a lot of fun at school and only cried on the bus a little and then when she got off the bus at the school a little. So I was very happy. She said she wants to go back, and is kinda disappointed she has to wait till Tuesday to go back.
We should be hearing from Noah's teacher this week and hopefully we will start school for him next week. But for now we are just doing our own school work till we officially start. I am trying out a new program called K12 for his school work this year. I hope it goes well.
